I AGREE TO RAISE A MINIMUM OF $75 IN PLEDGES IN LIEU OF PAYING THE $35 ENTRY FEE.
WARNING: ALL RUNNERS/WALKERS/STROLLERS PARTICIPATE AT THEIR OWN RISK. A physical examination is not necessary in order to qualify. However, if you are in doubt of your ability to engage in an event as strenuous as a km Run/Walk/Stroll, we urge you to consult your physician.
Release Waiver and Indemnity

In consideration of the acceptance of my application and the permission to participate as an entrant or competitor in the Meaford Harbour Run/Walk/Stroll event, I, for myself, my heirs, executors, administrators, successors and assigns hereby RELEASE, WAIVE and FOREVER DISCHARGE all rights and claims against the Race Directors, Race Organizers, Volunteers and Sponsors, their associates and/or subsidiaries, all other sanctioning bodies: The Municipality of Meaford, Meaford Hospital Foundation, Grey Bruce Health Services, or any or all involved organization, officers, representatives, successors and/or members for any/all damages, claims, expenses, actions and causes of action whether in law or equity in respect to death, injury, loss or damage to my person or property HOWSOEVER CAUSED arising or to arise by reason of my participation in said event, whether as a spectator, participant, competitor or otherwise, while travelling to, participating in or returning from the said event AND NOTWITHSTANDING that the same may have been contributed to or occasioned by the negligence of any of the aforesaid.

I FURTHER HEREBY UNDERTAKE TO HOLD AND SAVE HARMLESS and AGREE to INDEMNIFY all of the aforesaid from and against any and all liability incurred by any or all of them arising as a result of or in any way connected with my participation in the said event BY SUBMITTING THIS ENTRY I ACKNOWLEDGE HAVING READ, UNDERSTOOD AND AGREE to the above WAIVER, WARNING RELEASE AND INDEMNITY.

I WARRANT THAT I AM PHYSICALLY FIT TO PARTICIPATE IN THIS EVENT.

I acknowledge that the Meaford Harbour 5km Run/Walk/Stroll may use my name and/or photo in future publications or announcements.

This is a Legal Document. If you do not understand or are in doubt about its effect, consult your lawyer before signing. I AM SIGNING THIS IN FULL KNOWLEDGE OF THE WARNING.

 

I ATTEST AND VERIFY THAT I AM 18 YEARS OF AGE OR THAT I AM SIGNING AS THE LEGAL GUARDIAN ON BEHALF OF AN EVENT PARTICIPANT UNDER THE AGE OF 18 YEARS.

Agreeing to this waiver and registering online for this race by me, for myself or as legal guardian of an event participant, in an electronic format authorizes you to accept this waiver as signed by me.
